1. Findings
Figure 1 illustrates the profits of Mojo in its two markets, Hong Kong and Singapore.
1.1 Singapore
In the first two years, profits in Singapore rose steadily until 1996. However, it began to decline to HK$30 million and remained stable bewtween 1998 and 1999. After that, it decreased again. One reason for the increase in profits was that there was a growth of China market while a possible explanation for the decline was that there was keen competition from Malaysia in mid/late 1990s.
1.2 Hong Kong
Starting from 1994 to 1997, the profits rose sharply and reached a peak of HK$60 million in 1997. But it then halved to HK$30 million by 1998 and kept falling between 1998 and 1999. And sales began to recover and climbed steadily to HK$40million. An increase in profits may be attributed to pre handover boom in Hong Kong.

3. Findings
Table 4 shows the results of satisfaction with working conditions among senior and junior staff conducted by an insurance company.
3.1 Equipment
The findings demonstrate that almost three-quarters of junior level staff are dissatisfied, whereas less than a third of senior level staff were satisfied. A possible explanation for the dissatifaction is that old software is installed in the computer, leading to a slow and inefficient response rate and decreased work productivity.
3.2 Furniture
The findings reveal that only one-fifth of senior level staff are dissatisfied, while compared to junior level staff, around half of the staff are dissatisfied. The reason for this is that the furniture becomes old and uncomfortable. This can lead to large amount of sick leave from those staff.
3.3 Pantry
The findings show that around half of both junior and senior level staff are dissatisfied for the pantry. It appears that there is small kitchen and very dirty. The implication of this is that they may not willing to cook in the company and need to go out everytime, leading to inconvenience to staff.
